Hi everyone! My name is Lexi Scherr and I am a university student studying to become an elementary school teacher. I love working with children and have been doing so for the last couple of years in different roles. Because of my very full timetable, both juggling school and work, finding a hobby that I can do to not only decompress, but also still challenge myself to grow is very important to me. I have always loved baking, but I have never truly explored baking beyond the staples such as cookies and brownies. This blog is going to follow my journey of learning how to bake, some simple things at first, and then develop to things that are out of comfort zone, and considered more advanced. It will also follow my learning over the span of this semester, becoming a diary of my education and resources that I have found helpful and enlightening.
